Ingredients

- 2 lbs. ripe vine tomatoes
- 1 medium shallot
- 1–2 cloves garlic
- 3/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions in salted water until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, finely dice the shallot and mince the garlic. Dice the tomatoes and chop the basil.
