  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (divided)
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Toss chicken pieces with olive oil, flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well-coated.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and add the seasoned chicken pieces. Cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower heat to medium-low and add remaining butter to the skillet. Scrape up browned bits as it melts.
  6. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Return chicken to the pan along with lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss everything together to coat.
